Hello everyone, I have released Conference Discount Eligibility , a community plugin that adds automatic eligibility discounts and secure coupon functionality to Leconfe payment flows. The plugin was developed for Leconfe 1.4.6 and PaypalPayment 1.1.0 . Main features Automatic discounts by registered user, email address or institutional domain. Optional eligibility validation based on confirmed conference authorship. Coupon campaigns with validity periods, usage limits and payment scope restrictions. Support for both Participant Payments and Submission Payments. Coupon code field displayed directly on the payment page. Automatic selection of the highest eligible non-cumulative discount. Automatic completion when a 100% discount reduces the payment total to zero. Payment snapshots, invoices, receipts, reports and audit logging. English, Brazilian Portuguese, Portuguese and Spanish translations. Integration with Leconfe and PayPal The plugin does not modify Leconfe core files. Thomas Hi Thomas, Thank you for asking. I have just released version 1.3.0 with improvements to these fields. The percentage is not restricted to the suggested values. You can type any value from 0.01% to 100%; 30% and 40% are only quick suggestions. The Reason field now provides organization-neutral options: Active member Institutional partner Country-based waiver Research support program Financial hardship Promotional campaign Editorial decision Individual approval Other When you select Other, a custom reason is required. You can also add optional details to any selected reason. Existing reasons from previous versions are preserved and mapped without data loss. As an alternative, you can download and extract the package, then copy the ConferenceDiscountEligibility folder directly into the Leconfe plugins directory.

Hi Bruno, thanks. I have just uploaded the new version into my test system. in Plugin verison it says 1.3 and the previous data are still existanr. However if I want to create a new discount an error "500 - A server error occurred. Please try again later"

Thank you for testing and reporting this.

I have released version 1.3.2. The predefined Reason dropdown and its dynamic form logic have been completely removed. Reason is now a single required free-text field, so administrators can enter any appropriate reason directly.

All previously stored reasons are preserved exactly as they are, and no database migration is required.

Please make sure Plugin Management displays version 1.3.2 before testing. If it still displays an earlier version after upload, reload the page and clear the application/PHP opcode cache or restart the PHP service.

Thank you for reporting the issue.

I have released Conference Discount Eligibility 1.4.0, now compatible with Leconfe 1.5.0, while retaining compatibility with Leconfe 1.4.6.

This version also keeps the simplified discount form:

Reason is now a free-text field, so you can enter any appropriate explanation.
Percentage can be entered directly when creating or editing the discount.
Existing discounts, reasons, coupons and payment records are preserved.
Generated coupon codes can be revealed again from the Coupon Campaigns page.

Dear Bruno, this is juts to let you know, that Conference Discount Eligibility 1.4.0, is not compatible with leconfe 1,5.1. i'm not running 1.5.1 i have just tested in my test environment the update from 1.5.0 to 1.5.1 and leconfe produces and error 500 when trying to access the scheduled conference either in the frontend or in the backend.

Thank you again for reporting this and for testing the plugin against Leconfe 1.5.1.

I have now investigated the issue and identified the cause. Conference Discount Eligibility 1.4.0 had a strict compatibility guard that explicitly accepted Leconfe 1.4.6 and 1.5.0 only. When running under Leconfe 1.5.1, the plugin rejected the version during the Scheduled Conference boot process, which resulted in the HTTP 500 error affecting both the frontend and backend.

I have corrected this in the new version:

Conference Discount Eligibility 1.4.1

This version now supports:

Leconfe 1.4.6
Leconfe 1.5.0
Leconfe 1.5.1
PaypalPayment 1.1.0

I also reviewed the changes between the official Leconfe 1.5.0 and 1.5.1 releases. The PaymentManager interfaces used by the plugin remain unchanged, so no changes to the payment, coupon, discount, or zero-value settlement logic were necessary.

Version 1.4.1 has passed the automated compatibility, regression, discovery, PaymentManager, notification, syntax, package, and security checks.

There is no database migration in this update, and existing discount rules, coupons, encrypted codes, payment snapshots, reports, and audit records are preserved.

I am attaching the new 1.4.1 package. When you have the opportunity, I would greatly appreciate it if you could test the upgrade in your Leconfe 1.5.1 test environment and confirm whether the Scheduled Conference frontend and backend now load normally.
